TWISTED SISTER Singer Jams With USS NIMITZ Crew During Taping Of VH1 Special
November 9, 2004TWISTED SISTER frontman and radio personality Dee Snider performed such infamous TS hits as "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock" with a band drawn from the crew of the world's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Nimitz, during the taping of a VH1 Classic Thanksgiving special last Thursday (Nov. 4). Joining Snider in the group were:
Christopher Petit — Interior Communications Electrician 3 rd Class (guitar) (solo: "Highway to Hell", "Rock and Roll", "Can't Stop Rock and Roll"),age 24 from Biddeford , ME.
James Bednarek III — Machinery Repairman 3 rd Class (guitar) (solo: "We're Not Gonna Take It", "I Wanna Rock"),age: 27 from Racine , WI .
John Coleman IV — Hull Maintenance Technician 2 nd Class (bass),age 22 from Bothell, WA.
The VH1 Classic special featured video requests and dedications from crew members serving on the aircraft carrier. Snider also hosted a live broadcast of his radio show on Philadelphia's WMMR during his 24-hour visit.
